Are they any good? Cus I've heard stuff about them stealing designs from other companies, and I'm not sure if I should trust their products with something like powering my computer via PSU.

Not really - no. Thermaltake are decent at best and dreadful at worst - for PSUs, look at SeaSonic, EVGA, Antec or Super Flower

Depends on the model, but thermaltake is usually an o.k. brand
