Isn't the VS a "budget series" PSU? I'd say swap it out for a better one. You don't want to skim on a PSU imo.

Also, does he need the 16GB of ram? Usually people get 8GB if gaming is the main purpose.

All fine by me but why 16gb of ram ?

Games hardly hit 8gb. Would be cheaper, thats all.

Edit: after complains about PSU choice, i did some googling and VS series is the budget option with lower quality components. So chanve it for CX at least or choose different brand.

PS. if u get CX600 or 600m it makes no difference (just few euroes) since u gonna need all except one cable (personal experience :D)
