hey guys, please forgive me ahead of time im totally new to everything in the realm of pc building. Ive had a lenovo y560p for quite a few years now and i want to refresh it as well as use it as a transition to a desktop for comfortable gaming. The plan for now is to slowly integrate as i go. I want to move the internals to a case for better cooling. with that i would have room for a graphics card and a power supply. It would either connect to the mini pci port or to the expresscard slot through through an adapter with banggood.com. what would be a worth while investment for now that i would be able to use on a build later? i do want to be able to do 4k later however its not such a big deal now. thank you in advance.

I would skip the idea of 4K for the next year or so.

You might want to start saving up if you plan to get a monitor/high-performance GPU for 4K later.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
