Need Help With Wireless Connection Settings.

I was watching this tutorial

to use my laptop as a router for my desktop until I can afford a long enough ethernet cable to reach all the way back into my room. but at 1:26 of the video I dont see the "Sharing tab". I think I may have broke it or did something wrong, I was watching other tutorials before that told me to do stuff different, so what I am wondering is their anyway I can bring that "sharing" tab back?

Probably because it's straight out of most any Window's Configuration Certification.

I've never done it this way, but you could try this:  http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/simple-windows-7-file-sharing-step-by-step-procedure/

Did you get a chance to give that a shot?  I'm curious as to what your issue was.
