If you haven't ever seen/used one in person, it's hard to understand. Once you've tried one though, they are just built so much better than something from, say, corsair, or cooler master, etc.

Oh yes :3 You might misunderstood that I'm trying to underestimate Filco but I'm not, I'm just willing to know, so by sending that Link I actually just wanted to share such info. And there's a reason at that link about why Ducky us cheaper although came from the same OEM :3

Filco has been around longer. There are many watches nicer, more features and better than a Rolex. Rolex is an old watch brand . Filco is a Rolex.

Quality. I spilt so much fucking fishball noodles into my filco but it survives for 3 years. In contrast I have a dead g710, two rosewill RK9000 with broken connectors (glue went bad) and a razer blackwidow with a loose equalizer. None of those keyboards lasted more than a year. Im so rough with my keyboard that one of my RK9000 lost its legs.

then, why not K70 instead? I mean, It have media controls, and it uses an aluminium housing instead a plastic housing

 

Its gimmicky look might not be for everyone. Alot of people prefer their mechanical keyboards to have minimalistic housings. And its not an aluminum body or anything so its not even better quality than a filco.
