all i can tell you is get a titanX, best GPU for 4K gaming.

The 980ti literally performs the same in most games. The titan X barely gets 2-5 frames at best and the only thing going for it is the ridiculous amount of vRAM.

He should get a 980Ti for gaming, same performance for  way less.

You know he said Australian right? no,  Titan is not a good idea for this, unless he specifically needs it

Dude, can you just stop posting.

OP may need a 3k PC for a certain reason, a reason he did not state, or he's just messing with us and wants to see what 3k could get him.

Either way you're not providing anything helpful to anyone and spreading false information/logic

You do not get a "b0ss" one for 500. Especially 500 AUD. A 980Ti, Skylake i5, 16GB RAM is all you need, but in AUD that's like 2000-2500.

Also TitanX should be bought only if you're doing some work with uncompressed textures. There's no point in getting one when a 980Ti performs 5 fps below/above it in games.
