NEED HELP WITH CPU FAN!

I really need help with my cpu fan I just bought. I tried to install it, but the back plate didn't fit into my motherboard. Is there any way to install it using the back plate already on my motherboard. How do I know if its even compatible with my motherboard. Thank you in advance for your help.

you probably doing something wrong

read the directions again

the backplate on my motherboard is rectangular and the backplate for the fan is a square. The backplate wont fit. I attached some pics

The bracket you are trying to use is for Intel mobos. Use AMD bracket instead. And please read those instructions.
