well last night before i turned my pc off i had around 20gb left on my main harddrive but i just checked and i have magically got 470gb of free space now. could my harddrive be going bad or is something else happening?

Well, based on what you know you've put on your drive, which figure seems more appropriate?

im not sure hence why i came here everything is running fine no errors yet. unless somehow my pc got rid of really old restore points/hibernate files im no hard drive expert. so i thought i would post to see what input people who have better knowledge had.
