no software needed to change CPU if you bought OEM Windows it might be removed since Windows attached to your CPU and Motherboard ( CMIIW )

I have OEM windows, and I will be soon RMA'ing a processor. Will simply re-installing off the disk work just fine?

If I have the OEM system builder pack with the OEM CD of windows 7 then it looks like I'll be good???? :huh: :huh:

Iam not quite sure, but from my knowledge . . . no, if you bought a Windows in a CD format from a PC Store then its a retail key which is can be transfered and OEM cant

get a Win 8.1 SL with the Single Language Version u'll get 50USD Discount ( atleast in my country ) it just gave you the Language option only English (UK)

Nice! I just hope Microsoft will be nice since I'm out of money by throwing a new mobo and hdd trying to solve Intel's problems. {I'll stop hijacking the thread now :lol: }

I run OEM, retail and enterprise windows. You can just unplug and plug in hardware as you like up to an x number of times before calling ms for a count refresh. Enterprise always for 500 changes per key before calling in.

These counts are reset every six months.
