Sapphire R9 390 Nitro

SpaceJunglerX

Hello, I have a question about Sapphire R9 390 Nitro card that I use.

I have 0% GPU usage and I get 45°C on standby and when I game it get max 65°C..(FarCry 3, Rocket League, Witcher 3)

I saw some videos where card is running on idle at 35-40°C, I'm concerned why is my card running so ''hot''..

Thanks, SJX

I'm pretty sure it has a feature where the fans turn off if the temperature is  below a certain threshold.

If i recall, the fans are off when you're idling on the desktop. That combined with bad airflow could get you temps around 35 - 40c.

Shot through the heart and you're to blame, 30fps and i'll pirate your game - Bon Jovi

Take me down to the console city where the games are blurry and the frames are thirty - Guns N' Roses

About all the feature ''fans are off when idling'' is true, the middle fan is off and the side ones are spinning slowly..

And when I start up my PC, card sits still without any fans moving..

*Just opened my side panel it dropped to 42°C*
