So for the last 1ish year I have been using the Polk Signa S2 ultra slim soundbar for PC audio and it died recently and I was trying to look for a replacement for around $100 and something in a similar form factor as with my setup I do not really have space for bookshelf speakers and I also have accessibility issues with using earbuds or headsets. I want to preface by saying my standards are quite low, I simply need something that I can hear and is "good enough".

One of the first things I found was this Razer soundbar and saw a review of it on Short Circuit and Dan said it was crap but that was based on a much higher price ( it is only $70 refurbished or $120 refurbished with the soundbar which is over half as much as it was when the video was posted ) so I was wondering if at that price point it is still crap?

I also found these 2 sets of edifier speakers (2) that would also fit in my space but as someone who knows nothing about audio I do not know how these are value wise as a whole, like I don't even understand why there is such a price gap between the two.

The cheapest option I found from a brand name I recognized was this Vizio Soundbar but again I don't really know if that is the level of TOO cheap where it has to be a bad.

So overall if any of what I have linked is a good option or if anyone know something that is a better deal I would greatly appreciate help on it!

Thank you for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day!

I bought Mackie big speakers for $200. They've got a far more appropriate desktop variant for $100. Make link or AmazonThere's a white version as well.

Soundbars are mid in my experience. Too much software trying to guess how it should play the sound and that's talking about $750+ models. I wouldn't get a soundbar again. I have Sony's HT ZF9 as reference, no rear surround sound add on speakers but I do plan on getting some to complete the experience.

Those speakers you linked have just over half the power of the Mackies I linked.

I wouldn't trust Razer because of their shitty hardware lifespan. It took them a decade to finally make some computer mice that survive more than a few months. Linus bought all of his employees (30?) Razer laptops several years ago for the company Christmas Party and 1/3rd them developed issues a couple years later.

Vizio has always been a good cheap brand.

I would give it a shot and if you don't like it, then just return it. It's not like you're unpacking a massive, cumbersome TV.
