Asus ROG VS MSI

Go to solution Solved by Naeaes,

Asus has been bombing hard here in the US with CS. My company is a larger distributor of Asus and we are contemplatingdropping them from MSI and Gigabyte.

That bites. Takes years for them to rebuild the trust even if they fixed things over night. :/

I like asus better

It really depends on the model - for example I have two 'gaming' laptops one from each manufacturer. They perform roughly the same however in order to clean the fans or re paste the CPU/GPU you have to disassemble virtually the entire Asus G750 just to get at them. This is basically true for all the top RoG models from the G73 to G751 - with the exception of the G75 which had easy access to the fans and even their own dust filters. I miss it :(

I personally find the MSI model to be uglier but when it came to fan & heatsink maintenance the difference between the GT70 and G750 is absolutely massive.

From an RMA handlers point of view ROG mobos and laptops are more reliable, MSI GPUs. Asus has overall better customer service and faster warranty service at least in Finland and to my knowledge across Scandinavia.
