My new build.

Anbu

Hi guys I'm new in PC's and this is what i want to buy and I need you opinion. Does everything match etc?

- Corsair 750W, CS750M Modular PSU, 750 Watt, ATX, ATX12
- ASUS Z170-A, s1151, Intel® Z170 chipset, 4xDIMM DDR4 (MAX 64GB)
- Fractal Design Define R5 Black Window
- Intel Core i5-6600K (3.50GHz, 4 core, 6MB)
- DDR4 16GB (4x4GB) Kingston HX Predator, 3000MHz,CL15
- Corsair Hydro Series H100i, liquid CPU cooling, 240mm top

I already have SSD and GPU (ASUS GeForce GTX 970 4GB) and 2 HDD's, one 1tb and other 500gb.

My question is this a good OC stuff? I would like to OC  CPU to 4.5 and use my RAM's on 3000MHz.

Thanks in advance. :)

The Corsair CS line is not a good choice. Do  you have Superflower, Seasonic, EVGA, or XFX available?

You would be better of going with a 2x8GB memory kit. Z170 only supports dual channel, so a 2x8GB kit would leave 2 memory slots free for an upgrade.

A better cpu cooler would help with overclocking.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

I have not found reviews of the CS750M, but reviews of the CS850M and CS650M report issues with ripple on the +12V line and the use of lower quality capacitors. Out of spec hold up time has also been noted on the CS850M unit.

If there are no better psu available, the CS750M will do okay. However, a better psu will improve the chances of a stable and higher overclock.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
