editing bottleneck ?

hey, i edit a lot of samme music video projects in 25fps 1080p and my playback is quite slow. i have just gotten the Lumix Dmc-g7 as a gift and can now record in 4k BUT if my rig struggled with the 1080p playback it will propberly die hard from 4k soo i wanted to know what the most effective upgrades would be. I dont care that much about export and encoding time as i mostly do that at night but better editing and playback workflow would be nice.

Current rig:

adobe premiere pro cs6

660 ti (with Mercury engine enabled)

i7 3770 cooled by a noctua cpu cooler

16 Gb Ram.

one 128 gb ssd for my opperating system (OSX yosemite)

one 250 Gb samsung Ssd for premiere, and the videofiles i am currently working on. 

one 1TB drive for storrage of the project after they are done.

and my motherboard is a Asrock extreme 4.

 

hope you can help me find out the most critical bottle neck/necks so i can get a better editing experience.

the 4k on the G7 is 100mbps

 

 

Not sure of the bottleneck myself, pretty much everything if upgraded would help especially when it comes to 4k

Meh not really its pretty normal for video work, I edit 220mbps files on my PC

 

Just the fact its 4k is quite demanding

oh i think it's because i use multi-cam for my edits, having 6-7 camera angles (with color correction) going at the same time is maybe a bit to much maybe i just have to use normal timeline editing......just sooo much slower
