Sorry that I don't have any names, but please go with WD Green drives instead and get an SSD for the main drive in each.

Sig under construction.

Why? sry I know jack shit about drives

You should really be using an SSD as a boot/main applications drive because the OS and any applications/files you store on it will load much more quickly. You may just look at the transfer speeds but IOPS are a huge factor too, because that's where the SSD really shines - everything has almost the same access time compared to a mechanical drive where the head has to move when trying  to read tons of scattered small files.

Also WD Greens should be fine for games because while they're slower it shouldn't be particularly noticeable in games (unless you can budget enough to get an amazing amount of storage to hold your games in). For SSDs, *do not* go with a Kingston V300, but other than that I can only recommend the Samsung 850 Evo or Crucial's BX100. I'd also suggest getting a 240GB SSD over a 120GB one (as long as it's a good one) because having more space will come in handy for programs.

Sig under construction.
