Hey im looking to get a new GPU because im going to be working on a Water cooling my pc and my current doesnt have any blocks for it at all lol. Im have like $300 to spend on a new one (give or take, in total i have about $750 for the entire loop including the GPU). I was thinking about getting a 970 or a 290x idk which i should get. So im looking to you people for help on this :) Oh and the GPU having a full cover block it a must. I dont wana worry about VRM and shit failing lol

Get xfx 390 as they have wb from ek. 390 is a better buy compare to 970 too with extra vram and extra performance.

Yes, as long as it's made for the 290x it will work on the XFX 390. The Asus DCUII 390 will work with the DCUII 290x block and backplate too.
