Did anyone use Hue lights? It costs like $200 on amazon. I am planning to get them since the light switch in my house is weird, its outside of my bedroom rather than inside and I dont wanna get out of my room everytime I wanna turn them off and one. I was just wondering if they would work with the ceiling lights.

They work like regular lights but you control them with an app or your desktop computer. so yes, they plug in the same places as regular bulbs.

You can still use your light switch but that's just on and off,  but you need to leave the switch on if you want to control them remotely with the app or desktop.

Phillips is also releasing a battery powered dimmer switch you can mount to your wall.

You can also set timers to turn the lights on at certain times, change colour at certain times,  or even have the lights turn on slowly over a set period of time

like starting 10 minutes before your alarm clock goes off.   Makes waking up easier without the sudden blast of light.

There are apps that are supposed to allow voice control but I've never got it to work and all the Google play store comments on these apps are pretty much

all people saying they don't work.   So far none of them have Google voice integration.

$200, is the standard price in all stores, so you can check stores for Hue also, some places have demo's set up.
