Pingy's Ghetto Shield

Sup guys, this is my version of a ghetto shield.

Front

The contraption

Other more different front

Made out of 2 PCI slot covers and some electrical tape.

Using Kainy, I can stream at 480x800 (my phone's resolution) from all the way across my house with extremely low latency at high image/sound quality. I use the Sixaxis Controller app to connect my controller to my phone.

I took these pictures with my phone, so I can't get any pictures with my phone in the contraption. I'll try to find another phone to do that (I might take a video to show off the latency, too)

Did you connect the controller to your phone for the PC input, or did you only do that for Android games?

Please quote me if you want me to see your post about my post, otherwise I may lose track of the thread and never see it.

I'd love to help, but I'm probably gonna' have to ask for more info before we can get anything done.

Have a wonderful day.

I have my controller connected to my phone when I'm streaming. It allows for longer range.

That looks so much better than that wich slick and linus made. :)

Lol, thanks!

I prefer theirs though because mine is a bit slanted, and it's hard to adjust it to make it straight. They have a huge velcro strip, so they can adjust the phone however they want.

Actually looks kind of pro. The black controller goes well with the black phone. It's looks way less ghetto than linus's pink case. :D

Very cool. I am working a streaming setup using an Apple TV and my gaming rig, along with AirParrot, which is a $10 piece of software that lets you stream your PC's screen to Apple TV. I will be using a PS3 controller like you, and I will also be streaming in 720p. I have already done testing and it runs very smoothly.

Main Rig: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X | RAM: 32GB (2x16GB) KLEVV CRAS XR RGB DDR4-3600 | Motherboard: Gigabyte B550I AORUS PRO AX | Storage: 512GB SKHynix PC401, 1TB Samsung 970 EVO Plus, 2x Micron 1100 256GB SATA SSDs | GPU: EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra 10GB | Cooling: ThermalTake Floe 280mm w/ be quiet! Pure Wings 3 | Case: Sliger SM580 (Black) | PSU: Lian Li SP 850W

Server: CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 3100 | RAM: 32GB (2x16GB) Crucial DDR4 Pro | Motherboard: ASUS PRIME B550-PLUS AC-HES | Storage: 128GB Samsung PM961, 4TB Seagate IronWolf | GPU: AMD FirePro WX 3100 | Cooling: EK-AIO Elite 360 D-RGB | Case: Corsair 5000D Airflow (White) | PSU: Seasonic Focus GM-850

Miscellaneous: Dell Optiplex 7060 Micro (i5-8500T/16GB/512GB), Lenovo ThinkCentre M715q Tiny (R5 2400GE/16GB/256GB), Dell Optiplex 7040 SFF (i5-6400/8GB/128GB)
