problem with RAID and onboard sound

Go to solution Solved by bcredeur97,

ok update: I fixed the issue. Problem was Biostar had an old version of Intel RST and when I updated it through Intel's site, it not only fixed the audio issue but it also fixed the Intel RST service not running issue" now my system is perfectly free of errors! Im so happy right now been trying to figure out this problem the whole day lol.

Hey guys, I have a bit of a strange issue here. I have a Biostar TZ77B motherboard, and its worked great for last year or so. But I have run into a problem. Yesterday I set up a few Hard Disks in RAID 0, and now about every 10 seconds or so my sound will make that robotic-like noise while im playing some music or playing a game or something. This only happened after I set up RAID. I read on another forum somewhere that it has something to do with Intel's IAStore program, which is used to manage the raid. Funny thing is, I cant get into Intel's RST application to look at anything because ever since i set up the RAID it's icon says "Intel RST service is not running" and starting the service doesnt help either. Im on windows 8. The intel IAstore program also does cause a small CPU bump when im playing audio and it freezes and makes the robotic-sound, but its very small like a 3% jump in usage(on a 3570k). What I do know is that Intel RST is causing the problem, and what i dont know is HOW TO FIX IT!?! I know there is obviously something wrong with intel's app itself considering I cant open it because "the service isnt running." :/ *sigh* any help would be appreciated.
