Hi folks,

For last 6 months I have 3 units of Hero 4 Black cams. All would be great with up to 4k videos and stunning video quality except one thin - post production. It is totally pain.
My late 13 MB Pro with Final Cut Pro works quite well with full HD videos from GoPro but my big PC just sucks....
FX-8359, R9 280 OC, SSD and HDDs combination, 16GB of ram... Seems like premiere pro should fly. But it sucks at preview, rendering speed is slow (60 fps does it's job...).
The question is what should be the mid-high video editing build?

I would like to make at least one video of my life each week without spending 48h of waiting for video to render or cry editing...

Any guidelines appreciated.

You would probally need a faster cpu if you want better performance. Consider a i7 5820 if you want to upgrade. Final cut x is very well omtimized and works very well on low end hardware and uses the gpu much better than premere. Consider lowering the playback res or trancoding to cineform to make editing easyier on your system.
