So its been a while since I have done a huge upgrade on my PC, but it is much needed.
Current Part List: Pc Part Picker

Originally I was looking into just upgrading my CPU but the only really good option was an

Intel Core i7-3770K wich is priced at 480$ before tax and thought that that would be a stupid investment now that 1155 is an out of date chipset.

Then I began my search for better Cpu's for what I am trying to acomplish (Gaming / Video Streaming) and stumbled upon the

Intel Core i7 4790k which is priced at 280$ and leave me some room to upgrade my motherboard.

Here comes the problem. I need help deciding on a motherboard to get and i would like it to be future proof.

I am a fan of Asus motherboards and would like to stick with it any suggestions on motherboards?

Go on fleabay/craigslist and see if you can find a 2500K or i5-3570K. If you are only gaming ditch the i7.

Grab a good CPU cooler and profit for relatively cheap. i5-2500Ks can be had for around £50/$75 in the UK at least.

You should be able to get that and a cooler for maybe $150-$200 and itll keep you happy for a while.

EDIT: More ram also won't hurt.

If you are going to go i7 and a new platform, then go 5820K...

That may not be in his budget to get the 5820k ... with the x99 platform he will have to purchase ddr4 ram
