I want to buy a new pc after 3 years! I want this for gaming! (budget: $2800-2900)

 

This is the build i'm thinking off: 

 

case: corsair obsidian 750d

cpu: intel core i7 5820k (cooler: lepa aquachanger 240)

mobo: MSI X99S Gaming 9

gpu: MSI GeForce GTX 980 Ti GAMING 6GB ( η της EVGA την sc)

psu: CORSAIR HXi HX850i 850W

ram: G.SKILL Ripjaws 4 series 16GB DDR4 2400

ssd: samsung 840 evo 250gb

hdd: seagate barracuda 1tb

 

What do you think? Any recommendations?

 

I need a good monitor too!

My recommendation is to save some of your budget for games. When you get a new computer it's always nice to have some new, nice games to play

For a monitor get a 1080p 144hz. You won't regret it.

no. 1440p 60+ hz IPS. All 1080p 144hz are TN panels which are horrible.

As I did say before, use it as a guideline, you can shave costs here and there to tailor your needs, but that is what I managed to fit in the budget.

 

Of course skylake isn't necessary, but gotta stay on the bleeding edge of tech.
