Need Windows 10 Pro.....

So I have already upgraded to Windows 10 Home from Windows 8 Home.

If I get windows 8 pro is it possible to upgrade to windows 10 pro and how do I do it?

Buy the key.

 

Download Windows 10 Pro ISO

 

Upgrade to Windows 10 Pro using that key.

Be like me and get lucky. I had windows 7 home premium. Downloaded the windows 10 insiders preview (4 months ago) Got windows 10 pro, :D

Buy the key.

 

Download Windows 10 Pro ISO

 

Upgrade to Windows 10 Pro using that key.

 

Should also mention that Windows 8.1 needs to be installed first.

No need.

You can upgrade using ISO with the key that purchased.

 

Or Go to Settings--> Updates & Security--> Activation --> Go to Store. It'll be it. You can just purchase the Pro there it self and will be installed after it downloaded.

He was asking if he could buy 8 pro and use that to get 10 Pro. He does need to install Windows 8.1 Pro first before he does the upgrade.

Yes he can.

While it is true that you can buy Windows 10 Pro for less with 10 Home already installed and activated, that was not his question. His question was if he can buy 8 Pro and then upgrade to 10 Pro.

So could I revert back to Windows 8.1 activate and upgrade to Win 8 pro and then upgrade to Windows 10 pro?

I don't have £100 to spend on pro and I can get windows 8 pro for around £25 from my local store :S
