Eyefinity = 3 monitors all put together to run in some ultrawide setup.

For example my workspace resultion is 7620*1600 (3x 1600p Monitors) - to drive something like this in games I would need probably dual 980TI's or TitanXs*

*for the games I play such as AC, Far Cry, Occasionally Crysis 3, Tomb Raider etc.

So I should just replace the sapphire with a 980ti? because i would just run the game on one monitor and the other two just have tabs open of other things.

For single monitor (non 4k) 390/390X is a pretty solid choice or if have a tad more money maybe an R9 Fury. 980Tis are really only worth it if you a> have money to burn b> want to SLI them for 4K goodness or c> use CUDA
