Hello all, I just finished a system build with an asrock fatal1ty z97x motherboard, i5 4690k, 16gb of Corsair Vengeance Pro RAM, a Kingston V300 series ssd 240gb, a 650w corsair power supply, and a strix 970.  I was waiting for Windows 10 and my mass storage drive to come in, but I had everything else so I built the computer.  I went out and bought a Gigabyte GC-WB867D-I Wifi Card because I realized there was no ethernet where I wanted to put it.  So after booting for the first time, skipping the authentication process with windows, because I am waiting for my copy, everything was running fine, so I installed programs, motherboard and graphics drivers.  After installing all the drivers, the wifi card  was no longer working. It would find networks and connect but would not end packets to them or receive them.  After trouble shooting for a bit, the network trouble shooter said it was a driver issue, so I installed the windows 8 version that came on the CD, but that didn't do anything.  I went on the intel website and installed their wifi card driver too, but here I am with no internet, typing this on my laptop.

you may wanna send that ssd back, its a really poor one, as for the wifi issue, remove the drivers, take out the wifi card from the pc and make sure it goes back in properly, reinstall drivers and then see.

also try to remember when it stopped working (after which other driver you installed) and uninstall that.
