Note that i am going to get the second card in the future for 4k. Single card is not gonna be as powerful for 4k.

 

The price difference for new is around 150 to 170 usd difference in my country too tho.

they are reasonably close, with the 980 winning by a consistent 5ish FPS. i would say get whichever one is cheaper.

The 980 is marginally more powerful, perhaps anywhere from 5-12% depending on the game. Now, is that 5-10fps for 150-170$ worth it to you?

 

If it is, then go for it. The 980 is pretty good.

If it isn't then don't bother. Save the money and be just as happy.
