Yesterday, my internet started to get extremely slow. I assumed it would go away, and I didn't have much more to do on it, so I ignored it. Today, the problem was still there. Instead of a consistent 60mb/s down, I'm getting a very spiky 2mb/s. I have tried the following things: disabling/ enabling the network device and restarting my computer, and then I check for malware with malwarebytes and  avast. I don't have a wireless card in the desktop and my laptop only has wifi (which is at normal speed), so I can't try things with those. Do you guys have any ideas on what to try? Thanks.

what does your network look like?

without knowing your network setup we cant really figure out possible failure points.

I really don't know. I may be able to ask my dad later, but he isn't available now. I was more asking for anything related to the computer, as I could actually look into that more.

Did you reboot?

Check your proxy settings...

Yes, I said I did in the OP. The proxy settings say that I don't have one enabled.
