No, that RAM is not AMD-specific...

 

It will work on any motherboard that accepts DDR2 memory, be it AMD or Intel.

 

Hell, AMD's own Radeon Memory modules can work with Intel.

AFAIK, your motherboard must support High Density RAM. 

 

Again, not too sure, but High Density RAM can have some incompatibility issues... So unlike the others have said, there's a chance it may not work on your board, regardless of whether it's compatible with DDR2 memory. 

 

(If i'm wrong, correct me :D)
