It has been almost 4 months since I bought my 970. Got it at 300Eur. Best choice I did so far. 

I have been playing at 1080p, maxing settings on any game I trew at it. 

Between a 970 and a 390 I took the 970 to save on power consumption. 

If you're interested, this is the GPU I got. In heavy load I never got over 56°C.
