S4 microphone problems

My S4 microphone just stopped working all I hear is a fuzzy sound when I record in the voice recorder even in calls the other person cant hear me but i can hear them. I opened up the phone and removed the rubber piece where the microphone is and it worked....but when I closed it all back the microphone stopped working and now it wont work. I have replaced the microphone multiple times but it is still not working

 

Please help me.

there is a small hole on the body of the phone where the microphone is, clear it with a needle.

You actually replaced mic and it still does not work?

 

Must be a software issue. Have you tried restoring the phone?

I have ordered another microphone so hopefully it works!

You might be installing it incorrectly?

I got another one and it is working. figured out that you have to have the same revision number as the original one for it to work.
