Hi guys !

Got a little problem here, since installing Win 10 I have realised that my RAM usage has greatly increased. I have 16gb of ram and I should be using at most 3/4 GB if that when surfing the internet, but the task manager says that I am using whopping 14GB of it (85%). Here where the problem is, the numbers don't add up. I've used different programs to check the ram usage and it's the same thing. I don't want to go back to Win 8.1 as I am quite enjoying Win 10 experience. Any ideas ?

I have attached the screenshots below but if they are not there here are the images.

Disable the SUPERFETCH service.

Google around and you'll find this is the solution to the ever expanding SYSTEM process in Win10.

Win10 dumps a lot the small stuff now into memory, instead of the HDD swapfile.

Also (something to check) go into Windows control panel,...and set your pagefile differently (From Auto to Manual (setting 2GB min and 16GB max, or vice versa, manual to Auto), to see if thats been bugging out.

windows has been doing this thing for a while where it loads things in ram it "guesses" you'll be needing.

and i feel like with windows 10 they started to count this as actual ram usage, rather than hiding it from the end user.
