Straight Tonic Water (Canada Dry) obviously per the thread would not work.  However, I'm picking up what you are throwing down :)   Quinine is the ingredient in Tonic water that is fluorescent, it is also a corrosion inhibitor.

Quinine can be acquired from medicine supply shops possibly from health-food stores.  Quinine is a muscle relaxant...

I would be interesting to see if a Quinine solution could be an additive to a cooling loop as the result would be pretty freakin' cool.

If I had a cooling loop to experiment with, I would try it out.

Quinine's most important trait is suppressing malaria. My father keeps a steady supply of tonic water for that reason since he acquired recurrent malaria in the Navy. I've seen him during a recurrence -- it's not pretty, which makes me wonder what it was like when he acquired it...

As for using it in a water cooling loop, my only concern would be how it's acquired. If you can get a vial of it already in solution, you'll be golden. If it comes in any kind of solid -- pills or powder, for example -- then read on how to effectively make a good concentrate for it to ensure that no solids of it remain in the solution. Usually hot or boiling water is used for this purpose. Note: do not put distilled water in the microwave as it could super-heat.
