sound problem

Windows 7 says that there is no device installed. In device manager realtek hd and amd hd audio are enabled. In bios onboard audio is enabled. I have unistalled (deleting files checked) from device manager, reinstalled drivers which I downloaded from asrock website (a55m-dgs), checked sound - power - multimedia class scheduler to be enabled but nothing changes. Sound troubleshooter cannot fix the problem and sfc /scannow does not report any error. I loaded a linux live cd and it has sound.

Its not a cable problem. It works on linux. There is something in windows.

Yes it is but there is no volume bar (the green one) on the right.

I will install windows again tomorrow. I can't see any other options... :angry:

Reinstalling windows solved the problem.
