Mate. What ever the GPU between those two, The CPU is a bottleneck.

Get a 960. Or Upgrade the Processor to an i5 and then get 390.

For PSU, Get EVGA G2 750W PSU.

Intel Core i3 2100 @ 3.10GHz - Intel Stock Cooler - Zotac Geforce GT 610 2GB Synergy Edition

Intel DH61WW - Corsair® Value Select 4GBx1 DDR3 1600 MHz - Antec BP-300P PSU

WD Green 1TB - Seagate 2.5" HDD 1TB - Seagate Barracuda 500GB - Antec X1 E.

i think your cpu is a bottleneck

i know im thinking to buy a intel skylake processor....i just want to know if my current rig supports thous cards.

With your current system, I would stick with a 380 or 960 since your processor would bottleneck higher cards too much.

Maybe getting an i5 or even a 8 threads xeon for 200$ would be a better option.

It would be more cost-efficient if you buy a second-hand ivy bridge i5 or i7, the performance gain from Skylake is to low to make sense if you can get a good deal with ivy bridge or even sandy bridge (Core i-3000 and i-2000 series)

To answer your original question: Yes. Your motherboard will support any of the newer cards just fine. Your cpu is a little lackluster but it will work just fine as filler until you upgrade.

The New Machine: Intel 11700K / Strix Z590-A WIFI II / Patriot Viper Steel 4400MHz 2x8GB / Gigabyte RTX 3080 Gaming OC w/ Bykski WB / x4 1TB SSDs (x2 M.2, x2 2.5) / Corsair 5000D Airflow White / EVGA G6 1000W / Custom Loop CPU & GPU

The Rainbow X58: i7 975 Extreme Edition @4.2GHz, Asus Sabertooth X58, 6x2GB Mushkin Redline DDR3-1600 @2000MHz, SP 256GB Gen3 M.2 w/ Sabrent M.2 to PCI-E, Inno3D GTX 580 x2 SLI w/ Heatkiller waterblocks, Custom loop in NZXT Phantom White, Corsair XR7 360 rad hanging off the rear end, 360 slim rad up top. RGB everywhere.
