I've decided to ditch my old build and start over, this is what I've come up with;

http://www.scan.co.uk/savedbasket/150aabf6a45341e9ba8ba150f52f57c8

The only thing I'm not 100% sure about is the GPU, should I keep the 7970 GHZ @ £299 which is quite cheap or go with a GTX 770 @ £325?

Oh and I'm not going to wait a month because I've been waiting over a year now :)

EDIT: Dammit, I put it in the wrong section, my browser is playing up, sorry!

Please only post one topic.

The other thread was about people building it, not me.

It's still you working on the same build.

Don't end up saying it's a different build because it's not like you built the ones from the other topics already.

But does it show up as 'recently updated'?

Just state that you updated it.

Benchmark wise though, the 770 beats it and the 770 is a newer card. The 7970 will be discontinued if it's not already.

Old cards don't become discontinued like that. There are still tooooons of people out there running 500 series cards and are happy with them. Allot of people sadly fall under the old technology=not good misconception.

You sure the gtx770 performs better than the 7970? From what I've heard, they pretty much perform the same, except that the 7970 has a slight edge in high resolution/multi monitor gaming.

Look at these benchmarks, yeah it's only 7 fps on average but nether the less, on that game, it's a big difference.

They actually neck and neck

Don't forget, those 770's are on old drivers, Linus did that video when the 770's were JUST released.
