My Case is under my desk so I can't look at it. If I had room on my desk I might have one.

i hate windows, they always get scratched and somehow every case manifacturer feels obligated to put them on all case...

Anything I write is just a comment, take is as such, there is no guarantees associated with anything I say.

I like my case's side window, I get to look into my marvelous computer that I slaved hours on doing cable managing (to then screw it up later :(), and I also get to make sure everything is working.

Yes and no. I think for a system that uses air cooled, there is no really point in looking inside the case. Which is why my R4 right now is windowless.

But if you watercool? Then you have something pretty to look at. I've heard from many people that having a window is a problem for noise, but when you water cool, then usually you have less noise as your fans are low RPM (depending on the build).

Just my opinion.

id wanna show this off..

its like having megan fox as a girlfriend, but never getting to see her naked.

Windows FTW. why spend hours making your build look pretty if you cant see it.

because most people just slap things together that doesn t look nice with a bunch of cables everywhere.

but my main problem with a windows is that it gets scratched up in minutes and you re stuck with it for ever.

Ive never really had that Issue, then again, I spend more time cleaning my computer than I do anything else.... Apartment looks like a bomb has hit it, but my desk and PC remains perfectly clean.

But with the windows, for me any way, It it were to get scratched up I have no issue with just replacing the panel out with a new sheet and cut it to size. I like having an excuse to get the power tools out.

the thing windows only get scratched up when you clean it... shine a light on yours you ll probably see marks on it.

if you re going to replace a windoww, use glass instead it gets scratched up way less, but don t break it lol

but would you go as far as converting a non-windowed case to a windowed one?

Yes!...

I have a "sorta big" pc building project coming up. And part of the is cutting a big ol' side window. (need to find a way to make a proper flush window though).

I personally better like the cleaner looks of PC's. So pc's with funky windows that looks like pokéballs or whatever is just too much.

Everyone have a cool signature. I don't, so I thought I would write something.

- Cool right?

With a good looking case that doesn't have a side window, it will always look good. A good looking case with a side window, won't, unless you have hardware that matches and goes well with that case. Considering a lot of good hardware doesn't go well with certain cases, it really reduces the flexibility you have if you care about the cosmetics of your computer. Unless I'm building a computer with a certain design in mind, I always prefer a case with no windows.

two options, Use industrial strength tape to just tape the window down. or once you have made the cut, use a router on the edge of the window so that it fits perfectly flush with the metal panel

Basicly I'm aiming for corsair 900d sidepanel window looks. So the real challenge is to have the metal look like its been cut perfectly, same with the window.

make a poll

there is a poll......

you can get some nice cut lines with some power tools, just make sure you have a good work bench, then smooth out the corners with a rotaey tool.

I can't stand that!

THIS! I bought this case and honestly didn't even realize how big of a deal this is. I have had my computer up and running a week or two and already want a new case. LOL I think my friend may buy my current one.. Or I'll build a low end PC for work that can run basic programs in it.. IDK
