Alt tab problems while gaming

Whenever I launch a game I keep alt tabbing for no reason at all. People are saying it my Norton 360, I want to keep that, I don't want to uninstall. I'm running on windows 10, any ideas?

Norton isn't that great anyway, I use a combo of Windows Defender and Malware Bytes and I'm problem free.

use something like avast or avg not Norton

If I recall there was a program that was called Vista optimizer or something along those lines that had a gaming mode which allegedly helps keep notifications and those alt-tab problems away while you game. I think Razer Gamebooster offers the same but I have never needed that.

Some antivirus programs have a gaming or silent mode. Take a look for that.
