Network Card temps

Hey guys,

 

I've just ordered (first time) a network card (pcie x1) for my PC, it is going to be placed under my sapphire r9 390.

 

So one simple nooby question: is the network card dissipating heat? I dont want to let my graphics card eat heat

High-speed networking gear can produce some heat, but it shouldn't be anywhere near high enough to make a difference to the GPU's performance. Slam it in there and forget about it

yes, but it's not something you should worried about

 

it has been embedded on motherboard for very long time and works fine as long you have enough airflow

Don't worry about that.

 

Make sure you have the enough fans and way it mounted on the case.
