Best GPU for playing games at max settings for 1080p?

Nvidia just released the GTX 950 marketed at 1080P gaming at medium to high settings. I'm wondering what you guys and gals think the best GPU for playing at 1080P at max settings? I'm thinking a GTX 970?

A higher end GTX 960 will do you just fine on most games at 1080

gtx960 can play everything on high, if you're willing to spend 100 bucks more, gtx970 can play everything on ultra. Not worth it for me personally, so i bought a gtx960 two weeks ago.

whichever one you choose between these gpu's you're sure that you can max any game at 1080p

What's the best GPU for 1080p? What's the best CPU for overclocking? You get the point.

 

The best GPU for 1080p is going to be a Titan X or a Fury. And, yes, a 970 beats a 950 any day.
