M.2 SSD or SATA SSD?

aorammer16

M.2 is faster but it usually costs a little bit more compared to the equivalent SATA SSD. In typical day to day use cases you won't notice the difference and I'd recommend going with a regular SATA SSD.

who cares...

SATA SSDs use SATA III which is 6 GB/s. M.2 uses PCIe x4 which maxes out at 10 GB/s.

If you have an m.2 slot, use it.

Yes, but you won't notice it.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

Its like running at a wall with 6000 m/s instead of 10.000 m/s. In both cases you are dead. It doesn't matter. :D

who cares...
