does Witcher 3 hate overclocking?

the game crashes every so often with my 1554/1930 gtx 970. There are no driver crashes whatsoever, but the game just quits to desktop.

temps are below 68C, so overheating wasn't the problem here.

no it doesn't. it does however have an issue with nividea's power saving feature, take a peek at windows event reporter if you haven't.

nope, just got done playing 3 hours 

verify the game cache, ive had mine crashed and i got some files when i did that afterwords, so far good.

Reinstall the game, maybe it's a bug. I use my 970 at 1530 core and no issues whatsoever.

Im also running a windows 10 professional 64 bit. Reinstall could fix it I'm serious.

i can't just download another 30gb m8, Indonesia's internet is kinda slow

have you even tried running it without the GPU overclock?

Are you running Nvidia's Geforce Experience? If you are, try closing it and see if the game still crashes.

It was causing most games to crash for me, has something to do with the 'nvstreamsvc.exe' service. I think you can just stop the service from running but I uninstalled Geforce Experience and haven't had a game crash since.

Mine too.. My old 780 can only set at 1138 just to play this game without crashing.
