From what I understand linustechtips uses Invision Power Suite. I've done some research and the only comparable service I can find is VanillaForums. I don't see a lot of the features that IP.Suite has on VanillaForums and for some reason it is way more expensive. IPS seems to be working well for Linus so what do you guys think, and suggestions?

Why not host your own? You could have a server hosting it and only pay for a domain..

Ya, IP.Board is an application included in the IP.Suite, along with IP.Commerce which allows taking donations and subscriptions by monthly contributions. I would rather not host my own. I stream on Twitch regularly and don't want anything hosted on my gaming rig. I guess I could just build a server or home server but I would rather have it maintained elsewhere due to the weather here in Oklahoma (Power outages due to tornadoes and such).

So I'm guessing IP.Board is a crowd favorite?
