so, i have a bunch of programs installed on my secondary hard drive, when i do a fresh windows install they are all still there and they work, however they do not show up in control panel, is there any way i can re-add them? or just make them persist through the install?

im using win8.1 for the install

Some will work from old install folder. They will be with default settings unless you have done backup of AppData folders. You can manually pin the to start menu of just use .exe so many times it remains as frequently used. (<- Win7 btw, but same idea) If you want the easy route, just do reinstall and paste settings after that.
