Seems like bad a PR stunt.  To get 107 ms lag you would be getting like 9 fps...  1 / .107 seconds = 9.35 fps.  I dunno how they are making this comparison.  If anything, the higher fps the better, if you really want a competitive edge you would want to go with a 144 hz monitor, and a card that will output 144 or higher fps.  Going higher than 144 fps further reduces input lag too.  Not sure how this works with g-sync though.  I never read anything about the input lag associated with g-sync vs no sync.

 

I mean if a gtx 950 is outputting 144+ fps in the moba you are playing than go for it.  Save your money.
