Hey guys,

 

I just bought this card however i'm having issues with it.

 

It runs hotter than my reference titan x on air.

 

Moreover, the idle temp is at 50.

 

Any thoughts on what could be the problem?

I assume you're running them in sli. It could be that its being choked by the other card. Maybe you need better airflow in the case for 2 cards.

Are you running it just on air cooling? it is a hybrid card, so running it dry will have higher temps

yes just on air.

@is2910  It was designed to be put in a loop.... The fans are just a helping hand.

nope not sli. i wanted to try out the arctic storm by itself first.

n i realized the fans are not spinning even tho the temp is at 48. but when i load my games etc..it starts spinning

You would have to set your fan curve.
