So, I was searching for alternatives to Apples expensive  feature of expanding memory on IPhones ( Being a S6 Edge user myself) I took it to amazon and found this http://www.amazon.co.uk/First2savvv-i-FlashDrive-Memory-externa-mobile/dp/B013SJE8C0/ref=sr_1_17?ie=UTF8&qid=1440152977&sr=8-17-spons&keywords=iphone+6%2B However, I found it hard to believe Apple would allow this to happen, apple and 3rd party extensions never mix. Has anyone tried this before?

Yes it works, but you will need a application for it. It won't move applications, but photos and videos can be moved to it.

since ios devices dont really let you see the folder tree, you cant just move stuff around.

Generally the app might have an "off site" storage option or something along those lines, to store stuff like pictures on it...
