Okay so i am familiar with all the mechanical keyboards except for the das keyboard. The problem is that in the netherlands you dont have many blue and brown switches. So i found someone that sells his das keyboard (Browns) for 80Euros. So i wanted to know if any of you guys have a das keyboard or have ever used one. I don't want to hear the specs and shit.. i just want to know from the ppl that have/had/ have seen it.

BTW is the glossy a problem? This is get dirty too quick?

Thanks.

I myself don't own one but I hear it is and awesome keyboard.

^ This. I'm pretty sure a youtuber I watch (PsyStarcraft) uses one and he hasn't raged about it yet :D

My friend has a das and recommends it to everyone who wants mech keyboard. It's a solid choice. (literally)

IMO.... i have a das keyboard as you can see in my bio/signature thingy. The gloss is a paint in the ass but i dont really care.. The problem i hate is finding after market keycaps for them.. The usb hub on the side gets in the way of the mouse if your right handed  as you heard in linuses review.Id say if you were going to spent 100$ on a keyboard , might as well get a ducky and you said 80 euros for a das? i payed 110 cad for mine.. IMO its a keyboard.. its a nice keyboard not perfect but it is still in the higher end tier.. any more questions about it dont feel shy to ask. and again there is NO backlight on this keyboard so idk if thats a problem for you.

Das is a high end mechanical keyboard retailer making awesome products. They have all the features you can imagine and they say das keyboards can enhance your typing speed as well as your typing experience.

Yeah linus also said that ppl type faster on it and you can see for yourself with a live typerace on their site. But i think i changed my mind a bit. I kinda want tenkeyless so i guess im gonna do some search on duckys in the netherlands, as they are kinda expensive. I also dont like the glossy finish, and backlight would be useful.

The new Das keyboards aren't manufactured in Taiwan anymore.. so the quality is reported to be lower, but you said you don't care about the specs and shit so other than that it's a decent board.

I personally wanted one, but the glossy finish is a deal breaker for me. Two of my friends have a Das and say it gets dirty and they have to clean it often.

You said you already have experience with mechanical keyboards so if you like Brown switches, and the glossy finish is not a problem to you, then I would say go for it.

Also note that the USB hub passthroughs are located on the right side of the keyboard which is weird and can be a problem (eg. if you plug something in there and it sticks out and you might bump it with your mouse)

Hmm With the specs part i meant i already know them. I just wanted some recommendations maybe if some ppl already have been using them. Anyways i think i already desided that i am going with a cm storm or ducky.

Nice name ughguh

Das MKB are pretty good, and I've heard good things about it......and honestly, if it were between a Razer BWU 2013 and a  Das, it's an easy choice.......Das by a wide margin. Only reason why I don't have one is due to the glossy top........I prefer mine to be matted. All the MKB's I have have matt finish, I get quite antsy and anal about things like that.

Haha, didn't even notice your name. And sorry didn't notice that you also said you don't like the glossy finish and that you changed your mind.

Yea if you want a TKL then a QFR is prob your best bet. Can be found for fairly cheap and it doesn't have a glossy finish, it's more of a rubber coating
