Alright so I have everything installed except ram still waiting for it to come. I have ram from my old pc that died idk if it's still working or not and it's 1333 mhz could I use that ram for now until the new ones come? The new ones are 1600mhz idk if that will be a problem to switch out the old ones to the new ones when they come since the speeds are different will the mobo run into issues changing out the ram after a day or two? Also I have no idea if the ram is dead as well can it cause harm to my new rig if they are bad and I try to turn the pc on?

Wait is the 1333mhz RAM dead or the old PC dead? If it's the former, stick it in, try it out. If you switch the RAM, it shouldn't damage your new parts

The old ram should be fine to use. As long as it isn't dead and you install it correctly it wont break the computer. Just make sure it's in good condition though and it's the right DDR for your motherboard

So even if the chance exists that the ram is dead and I try to turn the pc on it won't cause any harm to the other components?

It shouldnt harm anything. Worse thing  it will cause is you may have to clear cmos afterwards if it doesnt  work
