What to do after

I bought a new system. Only thing I keep is the hard drive on which my OS is installed and other programs and files are located. So what are the things/steps I need to do when I get the system running?

Update any drivers, install any NEEDED software first, and make sure everything is running.

Yes I thought of that and downloaded all the newest drivers to a USB flash drive.

I heard u need to reactivate windows and I want to know what's up with that and if there are any other things to do.

if it doesnt ask you to reactiviate windows you probably wont need to. make sure to get all the new drivers for everything motherboard, gpu, etc

No waiting for the cpu to arrive. It had a delay.

Ok well try to just put it together. If your system is similar to your last system and your somewhat lucky it might work perfect right from the start. If not you may need to clear hard drive/reinstall windows. I sugggest keeping your windows key on hand just in case

If the hard drive boots into windows you will want to back up your data then reinstall windows fresh.

my new pc posts and boots in to windows in fact im using internet right now and everything works perfectly even though i didnt reinstall windows.
so is there any other things i should do?

Back up your data and reinstall windows.
