Sniper M5 OP Amp?

Go to solution Solved by Thx And Bye,
What amp? For the Audio? It has to be an audio amp then.

You won't notice a big difference between amps as long as you don't have high end equipment. (eg. if you need an amp that can handle 600Ω headphones.)

In the end the amp is only amplifying the signal. It's not the DAC that converts from digital to analog.

Okay, so today i decided that I was gonna swap out the already installed op amp for the one that they shipped with the motherboard. Everythign went well, but, I don't seem to notice the difference. I tried googling what exactly the OP Amp does, but didn't find anything, just got more confused than before. I remember though, it's like supposed to change the way the audio sounds, but as I didn't notice, I thought i was mistaken. Lastly, if I wanted to change it for a different one, would any OP Amp that I can find on the internet work, or would it have to be a specific one?
